Tickhill Parish Room Group Needs Your Ideas

Tickhill Parish Room Group need your help with a community consultation questionnaire.

The Parish Room has served the community for over 700 years being owned the last 100 years by St. Mary’s Church complementing other meeting places in Tickhill.

It is located on Northgate, almost opposite Hong Kong House. It can seat up to 60 people, has a kitchen and an outside toilet.

The group feels the Parish Room needs updating to enable it to continue as a community resource.

The group needs you help in completing the questions below so that we all get a community facility that we all want and need.

1. How many are there in your household?
2. Would you like to see this historic building continue as a community building? Yes or No
3. Do you agree that the Parish Room needs to be improved to make a better community facility? Yes or No
4. Which of the following improvements do you think are necessary or desirable? Please tick as many as you wish.

6. The Parish Room is currently used by several groups incl. The Women’s Institute, the Whist Drive Group, the Workers’ Educational Association, etc..

The list below identifies some ideas for its future use. Please add your own suggestions.

Advice Clinics, Committee meetings, Computer skills class, photographic club, primary care clinics.

7. Do you agree with the Parish Room Group that the Parich Room would provide a valuable resource for the study and promotion of local heritage and history? Yes or No.
