Hardwick Old Hall

This large, ruined house finisehd in 1591 was the birthplace and family home of Bess of Hardwick, one of the most remarkable women of the Elizabethan Age. Next to it is the 'New' Hall she built in the 1590's. An audio tour is available at Hardwick Old Hall telling the wonderful Bess of Hardwick Story.
