Bolsover Castle
The house you see today stands on the site of a medieval castle built by the Peveril family shortly after the Norman Conquest. Sir Charles Cavendish bought the old castle and began work on his ‘Little Castle’ project in 1612.


Brodsworth Hall
Situated 5 miles to the North West of Doncaster is this delightful English Heritage Property built by Charles Sabine Augustus Thellusson in the Italianate style.


Chatsworth House
Situated in Derbyshire's Peak District National Park, surrounded by one of the most magnificent landscapes in the country, Chatsworth House is one of Britain's most celebrated historic houses.


Conisbrough Castle
The white, cylindrical keep of this 12th-century castle is a spectacular structure. Made of magnesian limestone, it is the only example of its kind in England.


Gainsborough Old Hall
Gainsborough Old Hall is a hidden gem. Over 500 years old, it is one of the best preserved timber-framed medieval manor houses in Britain. It has a medieval kitchen, a Great Hall and Tudor brick tower.


Hardwick Old Hall
This large, ruined house finisehd in 1591 was the birthplace and family home of Bess of Hardwick, one of the most remarkable women of the Elizabethan Age. Next to it is the 'New' Hall she built in the 1590's.


Roche Abbey
This abbey founded in 1147 is just a few miles from Tickhill.
