John Cowie is looking for help from local people with a project to research the background of all those commemorated on the War Memorial in St Mary's Churchyard. He has already completed work on the background of those listed on the Rossington War Memorial. He now plans to produce a publication based on the Tickhill War Memorial.
He would very much like to know the background stories of those who gave their lives in the two World Wars. As well as any information about the people named (both their wartime roles and their previous civilian lives) he would appreciate being able to make copies of any photographs of those named.
